Hello , 3 Facts About Biblical Love

"My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me," Galatians 2:20, NLT.

Fact #1, it's unconditional.

Dying on the cross, Jesus asked the Father, "Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing,” Luke 23:34. Jesus showed unconditional love even during His crucifixion. So then, there is no sin that can't be forgiven (unless you ignore the Spirit's teaching). God's love is able to reach anyone regardless of how rotten one might be. The Father gave His only earth-born Son to die for us so that anyone accepting His salvation would live forever. Check out Hebrews 5:9. His love is for you and me!

Fact #2, it's sacrificial.

See our verse above. It contains the words, "who loved me and gave Himself for me." Paul knew what Jesus did for him and he could vouch for the truth of Jesus' love. Jesus said this at John 15:13, "There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." Jesus did that. He allowed His own death as a perfect sacrifice for the forgiveness of sin. God came to earth to die for His creation. There can be no greater love. We then must see others as God sees them. Share the gospel, friends.

Fact #3, it's patient and kind.

1 Corinthians 13:4 teaches the fact, "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud." Ever had to be patient with someone who didn't grasp a point you're making? Do you see that love equals patience and love equals kindness? So then, we too must be patient and kind with everyone we come across. Unfortunately, that's often not so easy. Sin ruptures the soul, showing poor behavior. Yet, God loves even difficult people. I'm one of them at times! I'll let you decide for yourself. The Father sees broken people all over the world yet loves them enough to give His Son.
