Hello , I will not have green eggs and ham, said Sam I am.

"What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter."  Isaiah 5:20, NLT.

There are some things we just don't like.

I can think of several things I don't like. However, the point here is that God is displeased when society does away with His moral laws. That's called sin, and sin is deadly serious business. It has eternal consequences. Therefore, we cannot run with society calling good evil and evil good. There's no way that thought works in God's way of things. Our Father has directed how He wants society. It follows then that man is to do as God says. You've seen the mess in our cities and government -  that's a result of man's disobedience. Honestly, people are dying for lack of following God's ways.

Just to be sure.

The wages of sin are death, both physical and spiritual, Romans 5:12, 6:23. Our Father speaks of His wrath falling on those who die, not submitting to Jesus' rule in life, Romans 2:8. That's certainly true for the evil in our nation So, when there's injustice on a large scale, as babies aborted in the millions, when people rob, steal, and murder and people say lawlessness is good and morals bad, you know God is factually angry. Sin reproaches a nation, Proverbs 14:34. Eternal consequences eventually catch up to evil. There is nothing hidden from our God.

It's best, vital, to do as God says.

We've seen God destroy nations in Old Testament accounts. He did away with Rome's power through Christianity in the first through fourth centuries. Our country is no different. God will do away with our nation as well. God is entirely consistent. He brings nations up for His purpose, and He takes them when they move away from His purpose. It's happened many times. What's the solution? Our nation needs a massive upheaval of sin and a significant injection of God. It's time we returned to the Book. Amen?

Seek good and do it.

Our heavenly Father. Always thank You for salvation. Thank You for our Lord Jesus and His sacrifice. You are greatly praised among Your children. May we ever strive to do Your will, in all things, only in the way You want them done. We submit Father to our Lord's will. We recognize Jesus as our Lord, Savior, and Master and You as our heavenly Father to whom all praise is due. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen, in Your Son's name, amen.
