Hello . We're never too old!

For God says, “At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.” Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation, 2 Corinthians 6:2, NLT.

We're never too old to realize we need God.

Whether you're 16 or 96, you can understand your need for God if you can think. God is the light and life of men. He is the only reason we exist, and that's because He wanted our existence. Without Him, our reality is dull and flat. There's no hope, no promise, or nothing to look forward to after this life without God.

We're never too old to realize we have sinned.

Every one of us has sinned. Our parents have sinned, our siblings have sinned, our friends have sinned, and anyone else we can think of has sinned. All people everywhere have sinned. And, without Jesus, our sins put us under God's wrath. We know what that means. Sin is the one reason folks end up in hell, and that's a fiery place, indeed.

We're never too old to repent!

Whatever our age, we can repent. We're never too old for that. If we want heaven, then our rational mind should propel us forward to change our life. Our old sins can be forgiven; new ones can too. We can have a brand new life when we turn to the Lord. The Holy Spirit works our regeneration, Titus 3:5. Instead of hopelessness, we have hope. Rather than being godless, we have God. The promise of heaven awaits!

Do as God directs for salvation. We don't want hell, and that's for sure!

Father, people pass each day. Most of them die without reconciling with You. It is a sad state to be without You, Father. Torment is unimaginable, but then so is heaven. And that's where we want to be Father, with You time without end! Blessed be our Father! In Your son's name, we pray, amen!
