Hello . I had a good thought!
For as he thinks in his heart, so is he, NKJV, Proverbs 23:7.
I had an excellent thought.
Well, I've had several, but I tend to forget them, even when I make a point of remembering. In my line of work, preaching, thoughts are super important. So, I want to remember all the good ideas I have, but, you know, I can't recall every good thought.. Some of them would have great sermons, I'm sure of it.
You have good thoughts, too.
Those who claim Jesus as their Savior have excellent thoughts. Paul says in Colossians 3:2-3, "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." It's a good thing our life is so hidden in Christ. It speaks of the security we have in Him. Even though the world may buffet us, we always have our Savior with us. Now that's an excellent thought!
We should remember Bible thoughts.
We are His disciples when we have God's word in our hearts. Our character, therefore, reflects the love our Father shows us, forgiveness, providence, our home in heaven, and our moral conduct. When we follow the New Testament, we live with the Spirit within us. What a great thought that is! For those who the Spirit leads are sons of God, Romans 8:14.Tip: Let us always remember where we were before forgiveness and where we are now.Father, please forgive us our sins. Our soul is open and ever before You. You know all things, and You know our thoughts before we say them, and You know our sitting and rising. Your eyes are always upon us, Father. Your love for us is a beacon in the night watches. We praise You, for Your glory burns within us. You have our hearts, our very being. In the love of Your son's name, Amen.
