Hello . We need truth!
Make them holy by your truth; teach them your word, which is truth, NLT, John 17:17.
We need truth!
We can't live without truth. We need everyone around us to state the truth. For sure, we need preachers to tell us the truth. Without the truth, we can't go to heaven. We are sanctified by God's word, truth, John 17:17, and means salvation and service.
We have to want to find the truth if we want heaven.
No one, absolutely no one, gets to heaven without truth. So, if heaven is our goal, we're going to have to search for, and understand, the truth. And when we find it, only then are we able to act for our salvation. As we live, we find real, objective, God-of-the-universe truth only in the Bible.
Desire truth.
Desire defined means a strong want for something. It's a longing for something. A heart set on truth is a soul headed for heaven. John 1:14 has this," And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth," NASB. How do we get this kind of desire? It's already there, in our hearts, we just have to decide how much we want heaven.Tip: A preacher may preach the gospel to his heart's content, however, it is the individual's heart to want to accept gospel truth!Father, we search for truth. Those who desire You look to Your word, every day, to find deeper and deeper meaning. We desire to be as close to You as we possibly can. May our hearts ever be open to Your love, mercy, and grace; may we walk in peace with You all the days of our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen!
