Hello,
.
.
T
oday, we're talking about: dem' bones.
"This letter is from Paul and Timothy, slaves of Christ Jesus. I am writing to all of God’s holy people in Philippi who belong to Christ Jesus, including the church leaders and deacons." NLT, Philippians 1:1.

Dem' Bones?
Sure, we've heard the song, "The ankle bone's connected to the leg bone." The song goes on to attach all the bones. Dem' bones refer to the structure of the human body. So, likewise, there's a structure to the Lord's church, the body of believers.
Dem' church leaders.
Elders, overseers, pastors, or bishops oversee the local church. All those words point to men who take care of Christ's local church. But, again, all those words are different views of the same men. 1 Timothy 3:1-7 gives the qualifications for men who would be elders. It's advantageous to note that God wants men, not ladies, in leadership positions. Amen.

More of dem' bones includes church folk.
Deacons, 1Timothy 3:8-13, serve the church, under the eyes of the elders. Those selected men carry out tasks helping the church to function. Then, of course, there are church members. These are the saved folks making up the body of a church. So, any congregation of the Lord's church is to have elders, deacons, and members.Tip: This is how the Lord structured a faithful congregation of saints. In Your wisdom Father, You have given the church. We find love there; we serve, and we worship. We love our brethren, sharing our common faith in Jesus. We also remember our Lord, our Savior, every first day of the week. Thank You for such a great sacrifice, the immense love, You've shown to Your creation, offering salvation to everyone. Your goodness is beyond our imagination. We praise You, O LORD God of heaven and earth! In Your Sons' Name, amen!
