Hello,
.
.
T
oday, we’re talking about salvation.
"For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son," NLT, Romans 5:10.

Our hearts are both fickle and loving, but not simultaneously. Well, maybe so.
Scripture tells us not to rely on our hearts for they are deceitful, Jeremiah 17:9, but then again if we intend on entering heaven, we must do so with the heart, James 1:12 —Slide Material for Salvation From the Heart.
Deciphering the heart.
If our hearts want heaven, as given in the New Testament, then we know it's truthful. If our hearts lead us away from heaven, then we know it's fickle. So then, which way is our heart leaning today?

Salvation is of the heart.
We can repeat the steps of salvation repeatedly, but it means nothing until we invest our hearts, and that reality requires action on our part. Yet, that's exactly what God wants, our hearts and our obedience.Tip: Don't have a fickle heart. Set it firmly on heaven.Father, today we live! Tomorrow, maybe not. We know we are in Your hands, whatever comes our way, toil, leisure, life or death. And when we pass, Father, may the angels carry us to our safekeeping. May we lean upon Abraham's bosom, and may we have access to our loving savior. For You are our God, and we mightily praise You. In Your Son's Blessed Name, Amen!
