Hello,

.

.

T

oday, we’re talking about thunderstorms.

"But soon a fierce storm came up. High waves were breaking into the boat, and it began to fill with water," NLT, Mark 4:37.

Thunderstorms are awesome!

I love thunderstorms. I like the crashing, the rain (but not hail), the wind (as long as it doesn't damage anything), and the booming sounds of nature. We know Jesus went through storms, even while sleeping. The disciples learned a valuable lesson, and so can we. .— Slide Material for Thunderstorms.

So, what's the lesson?

The disciples were afraid of the storm; water was filling their boat. However, Jesus is in control of all-natural existence. He immediately calmed the storm and asked His friends, "Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?" NLT, Mark 4:40.That's the question, though. "Why are we afraid?" Where is our faith? We fear life at times; our faith is difficult to find, but our Lord Jesus is in control of it all. Our response might be, "You're right, Lord, We trust You for everything, in life and death."Tip: Trust Jesus in life; trust Hm in death; trust Him with our souls. Father, We live at Your will. We live to do Your will, performing deeds of righteousness as You require. May all reading this post desire to draw near to You and, with zeal, do what pleases You. Please help us, Father, through life. It is sometimes messy and painful. We know it's a sin-broken world. We can expect storms in our life. Even still, Father, may we look to You for help in our trials. In Your Son's precious Name, Amen.
