Hello,
.
.
T
oday, we’re talking about feeling down - the blues.
“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit
," NLT, Psalm 34:18.

The blues - sadness of heart.
Sadness can be powerfully painful. It can stop our lives while our hearts take over. When feeling down, it's hard to get the "steering wheel" back. However, thankfully, there are many verses to help navigate the darkness of depression—see slide material for sadness.

What to do about sadness.
Bible wisdom is vital. Consider:1. Cast worries on Jesus, 1 Peter 5:7.2. Find good Bible stories about sadness.3. Consider 1 Kings 19:9-18.4. Renew your mind, Romans 12:2.5. Get busy with His work.Tip: Count your blessings! Start a Gratitude Journal (I have one I can send you, [email protected]).Father, we sometimes are crushed by the world. It not only comes from sinful people but sometimes from our own family. Truly Father, our hearts hurt as if they had been pierced. Who else can we turn to but You? You have the wisdom we need and the love we crave. You are always our solution! We praise You for being so good. Thank You, Lord God, for Your god-powerful love. In Your Son's Name, amen!
