Hello,

.

.

T

oday, we’re talking about snakes.

“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.”

NLT, Genesis 3:4.

Snakes.

Snakes are horrible creatures. I don't like any of them but I do know some folks who indeed like snakes. In the beginning, it was a serpent, the devil, that confused Eve to commit sin. And death flooded the world after that. Listen to Audio here.See the Bible material for Snakes, Serpents, and the Devil.Want the Gratitude Journal? Contact me at [email protected]).

What about that particular serpent?

Oh, well, he's pretty infamous. Most people love him. And true to form, he's leading billions to sin, with the outcome of eternal death and hell. Jesus called Him a liar and a murderer. It's true; see John 8:44. Jesus even calls him the "father of lies." Why do so many follow him if he's a liar and a murderer? Well, he offers the untruth of a fun, sinful lifestyle. It's only amusing to those blinded to the truth, 2 Corinthians 4:4. Causing blindness in the spiritual sense is the devil's game, of course. The devil doesn't want to be in hell by himself. He wants as many souls as possible to share his torment. People can, however, open their eyes to Jesus and His gospel.Tip: Don't be fooled. Jesus is your savior. The devil and the world are your death.

Prayer:Father, You are the life of all men. No one comes to exist without You. You give us breath, food, shelter, and clothing by Your grace and providence. In You, we live, move, and have our very being. Even more, Father, You offer us an eternal home with You. What absolute delight - to be with You forever! In this, O God, You show us eternal spiritual life. Forgive us our sins, please. Praise be unto You, Blessed Father. In Your Son's Name, amen!
