oday, we’re talking about disciples.
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
NLT, Matthew 28:19.
Disciples.
Jesus' disciples learn from Him. That's what a disciple does - learn from his teacher and follow his teaching. Today, we learn and follow His teachings from the Bible. He has the words of life, said Peter. And there's no one but Jesus to go to for heaven. Jesus told His disciples He is the way, the truth, and the life. But the real deciding factor is whether or not He rose from His tomb. All the testimony points to this event as true! And that means He is God. He is Christ (the Messiah), King, Priest, Lord, and Savior. If we want heaven, we must be His disciple, inside out, ever-learning, always following.
