The Issues of Life!
Everyone has problems in life, and sometimes it seems as if God is nowhere to be found. Our problems are often painful, and thereby there's a spiritual lesson and blessing for us!As far as I can tell, there are three reasons for our issues: (1) Sometimes, bad stuff just happens, (2) the sins and mistakes of others cause sorrow, and (3) Our own sins and mistakes cause grief. Our Father is undoubtedly aware of our plight, 1 Chronicles 28:9. There are things He has done for us and things He will do for us.What has He done? We are never separated from His love, Romans 8:31-35. He is always with us, Hebrews 13:5, and He's given Jesus Christ for the sins of the world, John 3:16.What will He do? He always listens to the righteous and repentant heart, 1 John 1:9, Psalms 4:1, and Proverbs 15:29. He teaches us shown in Hebrews 12:6 (He sometimes lets things happen so that we might learn our dependence upon Him). He saves us from a hard, sick, world. Note Romans 15:4 and verse 13 and Revelation 21:4.God is good, friends. All we need do is give Him our heart through everything this world throws at us.
