Hello,

T

oday, we’re talking about faithfulness!

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” NLT, Galatians 5:22-23.

Faithfulness: The Fruit of the Spirit

Ever been convicted? No, not that kind. I’m talking conviction of the heart. We're talking faithfulness today. In the New Testament, faithfulness is first the conviction that Jesus is the Messiah, through whom we obtain salvation and entrance to the kingdom of God. And secondly, we place our trust in Him submitting our lives to Him, believing the promises He made. We are dependent upon those promises all the way to heaven. What He taught, we hear, what He said, we do. In every temptation, He trusts (and knows) that we choose to do the right thing. And when we fail? He faithfully leads us back to the path. If we claim Jesus as Lord, we submit to His ownership. In the end, our Lord blesses the faithful. It’s His promise! You can see the Bible material for faithfulness here. You can listen to the audio here.Garland Van Dyke[email protected]www.biblepoints.org/bible-points
