Hello,

T
oday, we’re talking about gentleness!
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” NLT, Galatians 5:22-23.

Gentleness: The Fruit of the Spirit
Hmmm, the Spirit of God produces gentleness. I've been around for some time now and have seen many folks who were not so gentle. However, the Lord calls us to gentleness. After all, He could swat us off the earth for our sins, but He hasn't. He is god-gentle with us, offering salvation to everyone. I've seen His gentleness. It's in the Bible, from beginning to end. Just what is it, this gentleness?
Mr. Thayer defines it this way: "mildness of disposition." In several ways, gentleness is like love; it's kind, not mean-spirited, not arrogant, not combative, gentle, it doesn't dishonor others, nor is it self-seeking. A Christian may be angered but, even so, will display a godly spirit. Gentleness? People of the Spirit are gentle from the inside out.You can see the Bible material for gentleness here.
