Hello,

T
oday, we're talking about error.
"But there were also false prophets in Israel, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will cleverly teach destructive heresies and even deny the Master who bought them. In this way, they will bring sudden destruction on themselves." NLT, 2 Peter 2:1

Error
Here's how the online Free Dictionary defines error: an act, assertion, or belief that deviates from what is correct, right, or true. What if a church acts in a way that is not Biblically correct? What if its beliefs are errant beliefs? What if a church asserts and preaches that which is error?
What a mess that would be for churchdom! I know Jesus died for His church - it's the only one. I know Jesus is the head of His church. I understand His way is the only way to salvation, worship, and eternal life. But, what if churches have incorrect, ingrained beliefs? Churches are people, not the building, right? So, those people's thoughts and activities would be erroneous, according to the Bible. How powerfully sad! Fortunately, John said we could be sure we know Him if we keep His commandments, 1 John 2:3, NLT. What powerful relief! You can see the Bible material for our topic here.
