Hello,

.

.

T

oday, we're talking about the word must.

"For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth," NLT, John 4:24.

Must

Now take John 4:24, quoted above. It speaks to one's ability. "I can make it to worship." It says permission. "I am allowed to worship." But it also speaks of obligation. "If I'm going to worship God, I must do it in spirit and truth."

  • We can worship in a way that pleases our Father.

  • We are allowed to worship our Father as the Bible directs in my country.

  • We must worship God in spirit and truth.

Just a thought, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive compensation for his deeds done through the body, in accordance with what he has done, whether good or bad," NASB, 2 Corinthians 5:10.
