Hello,

.

.

T

oday, we're talking about hearing.

"So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ," NLT, Romans 10:17.

Hearing

Jesus gave quite a bit of instruction by speaking and therefore, He had lots to say about hearing.  And if we want heaven, we'll too have to listen to what He said over two thousand years ago. His words are still talked about today.  Hearing in the New Testament can be just that, "hearing." That's the act of hearing. But there's also another form of hearing that means the ability to understand. As kids, if mom or dad told us to clean our rooms, we had better listen! But there's even more to hearing and understanding Jesus's words. We have to hear Him with our hearts. His words often fell on deaf ears back then, and that's so today. It takes a good heart to hear what He said, to understand His meaning, and take it to our hearts as a life-changing message.

You can look at the Bible material for our topic and listen to the audio.
