It begins at conception.
John the baptizer lept within his mother, Elizabeth, at the sound of Mary's voice. This happened when John was still in his mother's womb. We should know that the Bible word for "baby" is the Greek word "brephos," and it means "an unborn child, embryo, or a fetus," according to Thayer's Greek Dictionary. He also states it can mean a "newborn child, an infant, or a babe." The Scriptures point out life begins at conception. Therefore it is the murder of human life to abort a pregnancy. Also, there are several references in the Scriptures of God knowing people before they were in the womb, shown in Jeremiah 1:5, Isaiah 49:1, and Galatians 1:15. David, the king, spoke of being knit together by the Almighty. Fact is, everyone, including the unborn, began at conception.
