Hello,

.

T

oday, we're talking about "I do but I don't."

"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain," ESV, 1 Corinthians 15:58.

I do but I don't.

We sometimes feel or think we're not doing enough for Jesus. Sometimes we wonder if we're doing anything at all. I can tell you that anything you do for others out of love is service to the Lord, 1 Corinthians 16:14. But really, today I'm talking about those who hear but don't do.We attend every service, and every Bible class, and we hear teaching from the Scriptures. We take it all in. Then we go home and never get around to doing the Lord's work. Oh, there are plenty of reasons, hmmm, I mean excuses - and most all of them are valid. But truly, it really doesn't take long to do something for Jesus and He knows your efforts. But don't be those who say "I do," and then not do.  You can look at the Bible material for our topic and listen to the audio.Garland Van Dyke[email protected]www.biblepoints.org/bible-points
