Hello,

Making the Better Choice.

“If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." NASB, Joshua 24:15.

Making the Better Choice

Choices are ever before us. Some are relatively inconsequential, and others, well, they are super important. Of course, one overarching option is whether or not to serve God. But as many of us have chosen God, it becomes our task to make choices reflecting His nature and thereby glorify Him.The old excuse that "Satan made me do it" is a common refrain. He may influence us through deceit (he makes sin look good and kills the offender), but the choice is ours, to obey God or to follow the devil's lies. Choosing God is always the best choice. Not choosing Him, choosing something or someone else might add up to idolatry. And indeed, we don't want that! You can look at the Bible material for our  topic. Garland Van Dyke[email protected]www.biblepoints.org/bible-pointshttps://garlandvandyke.me
