I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. ESV. Revelation 3:15-16.
Mediocrity!
I admit I was a mediocre student in high school and not any better in college. Truthfully, I was in the section of my high school class that made upper 2/3 possible. But the most important is knowing our Lord! No one can afford to be blah or mediocre in that.Mediocre Means Blah!It would be awful to miss heaven. But, right now, at this moment, many are cold toward Jesus (even though they claim His name) and some are hot! Whichever it is with us, we can't be just a little cool or a little warm. We can't be tepid. Jesus won't accept mediocrity. It's all or nothing with Him. So we must guard against spiritual mediocrity. Those that want to enter that wonderful place we call home are not lukewarm.
