The phrase "face of God" shows His general goodwill to everyone. But it phrase also emphasizes an active special relationship with His children. That relationship is for all believers who genuinely endeavor to live with Him and worship Him. We are told in 2 Peter that we are priests and priests offer sacrifices. Since we are priests, we offer ourselves to Him. We give Him our mind, body, soul, and heart. We do this every day, at every moment. He is our Father who "smiles" upon us,
