Hello,

Stress, Anxiety, and Jesus

"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6-7 NASB.

  • Too much stress and anxiety are harmful to the body, mind, heart, and spirit.

  • We don't have to live this way. There is a choice.

  • There's an old saying, "Let go and let God." We need to hold on to that.

  • We have to believe that Jesus, the Father, and the Holy Spirit take care of us, especially when we are out of our wits.

  • Don't you think God meant it when He said, "Cast all your care upon Me." ? (paraphrased).

  • The real test is do we believe, down deep, that Jesus is doing just that.

  • So, how do we get there? We read the good verses about how much God loves us and cares for us.

  • If you're a sincere Christian, you're never alone. Jesus is always with you, with your heart, mind, spirit, and body. Where you go, He goes, too.

  • Isn't it a blessing that we need not overly stress about anything?

  • Do we know that God wants us to depend on Him?

  • Remember, we live in love daily with our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
