Purity of Heart!
"
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
" Matthew 5:8.
Trouble in Ephesus!
Life issues stem from the heart, Proverbs 4:23. So, we'd best feed it with good things.
A pure heart is required to see and be with God. An impure heart means no heaven, no home there, and desolation experienced elsewhere.
Only the pure in heart will see God.
The Bible teaches us how to have a pure heart: Baptism, a pure mind, seeking Jesus, being wary of our desires, and cleansing our hearts are ways to do this.
We must learn to have pure thoughts. You can find out how in the Bible.
We must continually seek Jesus and heavenly things. Seeking Jesus keeps our hearts away from sinful desires.
We must be careful about the things we want, for our desires show the contents of the heart.
Baptism is the first step toward a pure heart, for it washes away our sins.
We must build a heart that accepts and gives spiritual love.
You can "see" God now with a pure heart, for we see things from His eyes.
Friends, live like the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are within you. Live in love. Be at peace.
