If You Don't Listen To Jesus, Good Luck With That!
1. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus tells us it is unwise to build your house on sand.
2. The statement has many ominous spiritual undertones.
3. But it's easily understandable.
4. You can expect spiritual disaster by building your house on the sand.
5. The meaning is to listen to God for salvation. Salvation is His way, not our way.
6. There is salvation in no one else but Jesus.
7. His words are the words of God.
8. Making up man-made salvation practices by no means equals true salvation.
9. Who changed the use of baptism, for example.
10. It takes a special heart to listen to Jesus' words and submit to them.
