Hello, For the Love of Unity!
Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:10
For the Love of Unity!
1. Troubled churches are no fun, Romans 14:17.
2. Who wants to worship where there is infighting and disagreements?
3. Souls are in jeopardy at churches like these, 1 Corinthians 11:17-22.
4. Rather, love should break out based on Biblical truth, Galatians 5:22-26.
5. It's like in 1st Corinthians 1 where factions existed in favoritism of preachers, verses 10-13.
6. Jesus is not happy about this. He prayed that His disciples would be united, John 17:20-21.
7. There are a number of reasons for disunity: jealousy, disagreements over the Word, arrogance, and distrust to name a few, 2 Corinthians 12:20.
8. The solution to disunity is Jesus, of course, John 14:6.
9. No one gets to the Father but through Him, John 14:6.
10. There should be no fighting amongst yourselves, but, rather, love in harmony of the Scriptures.
Friends, live like the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are within you. Live in love. Be at peace.
