Hello,  Hammers and Nails!

"Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, 'I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life'" —  John 8:12.

Hammers and Nails!

The title seems silly, yet it holds significant meaning for Christians. We know the New Testament contains several verses that we should cling to Christ.

So, here's a thought: if you want to ensure two pieces of wood stay together, you get a hammer and nails. The point is that the two pieces are securely bound to each other. Likewise, we must be bound to Jesus for eternal life.

But if we remove the nails connecting two boards, the boards will fall apart. That's no good. So, we must be "nailed" to Jesus forever. But what if we unbind ourselves from Jesus returning to the world? What would happen then? The Bible states that, for the fallen, all promises and blessings disappear. Only in Jesus are our hearts made full of God's glory!

So, if we want abundant life, we must continually be nailed to Him.

Are you nailed to Jesus today?

Let us always seek a closer relationship with Him.

Friends, live like the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are within you. Live in love. Be at peace.
