Hello,  For A Time!

"Therefore Jesus said, "For a little while longer I am with you, then I go to Him who sent Me. You will seek Me, and will not find Me; and where I am, you cannot come."  —  John 7:33-34.

For A Time!

We often think about time. We have to be there or go here. We have appointments and things to do. But those moments add up; before you know it, they become seasons. Before we realize it, another season is upon us.

You know, Jesus was here for a short time. He faced all the difficulties and temptations we face today. He was crucified - He died for each of us, bearing our sins while on the cross. As long as we're alive, It is always the season to get our lives right with God. Miss the season (opportunity), and you'll regret it eternally.

The story of Mordecai and Esther is about another kind of season. Mordecai had complete faith in God even when the Jews were set to be destroyed in Persia. Esther was queen then, but going into the throne room unbidden to ask for the Jews's salvation could mean death. But Mordecai helped her understand something very important, saying: "For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?" Esther 4:14. Mordecai's meaning was, "If you have faith in God, then now is the season to act on it." That's an excellent lesson for all of us.

Wise Solomon said, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens," Ecclesiastes 3:1. If that's true, then we'd all best prepare our souls before we meet our maker, living righteously in this present time.

Every season is a reason to live fruitfully for the Lord till we pass. Best take care of business, now and throughout the years: "Remember Him before the silver cord is broken and the golden bowl is crushed, the pitcher by the well is shattered and the wheel at the cistern is crushed; then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it," Ecclesiastes 12:6-7.

What season are you in right now?Let us always seek a closer relationship with Him.

Friends, live like the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are within you. Live in love. Be at peace.
