Hello,  Praise God! "Bless our God, O peoples, And sound His praise abroad,

Who keeps us in life And does not allow our feet to slip."  —  Psalm 66:8-9.

Praise God!

Old Testament folks understood giving praise to God. He had saved them, fed them, watered them, and fought their battles for them.He also gave the Hebrews His laws so life would be good. In return, His people were to love Him and obey. But you know, the Hebrews got way off track, worshipping the gods of the nations and were immoral in their dealings. But those in the know - they praised God. It was reasonable to do so. They loved Him from the heart and showed that love in song.In the last age, God left heaven, coming to earth to save His people. We have much to be thankful for, Ephesians 1:3 and 1 Peter 1:3-4. God is worthy of praise because He loves us and saves us.What did the two testaments have in common? A profound wonder and gratitude for Him. We sing, pray, and meditate from the exuberance of the heart. Here's hoping we never lose that exuberance.Let us always seek a closer relationship with Him.

Friends, live like the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are within you. Live in love. Be at peace.
