Where could I go? Oh, where could I go Seeking a refuge for my soul? Needing a friend to save me in the end, Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where Could I Go?
Have you ever done anything heinous? I mean, so bad that you feel you've bruised your soul? Perhaps all of us have. We don't want to remember it; if we do, it embarrasses us and hurts us all over again. We're ashamed of our existence.
There's no one on earth to turn to for this. You can't find solace anywhere except in Jesus. We turn to Him with that deep hole in our hearts. We want to hide behind Him as if that will shield us from our sins. We're seeking a refuge for our soul. We desperately need that. We need our soul's burdens to be lifted from us. We need a friend - His name is Jesus. Where could I go but to the Lord?
Friends live like the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are within you.
