**Surety of Heaven**

2 Peter 1:11 has it that one can be sure of heaven. That’s a huge claim! How is it, then, that we can be so sure? 

2 Peter 1:3-8 tells of the growth of Christians. There are several things that Christians must grow in. Then, Peter makes another bold claim in 2 Peter 1:10, “Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.” To be diligent is to show conscientiousness in spiritual growth. In this way, our entrance to heaven is secure.

So, friends, let’s strive to live as if the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit live within us! Let’s live in love and share peace with those around us.
