It all started in the Garden
Disease was non-existent in God's garden. Adam and Eve were perfect specimens of human health. That is, until the serpent came along and confused Eve with lies (I really hate snakes). They were cast out and lived their lives under the bondage of death.
The Bible talks of disease. Death still happens.
The New Testament describes Jesus healing a multitude of sick people, including those with paralysis, blindness, and other ailments.
The Old Testament mentions a variety of diseases, including leprosy, boils, fever, inflammation, and wasting disease.
Job's afflictions include sores, pain, and a shriveled state, which may indicate atrophy.
But thanks be to God for His indescribable gift; we are spiritually healed now and will eventually receive perfect spirit bodies through Jesus' sacrifice. Our death from disease is a door through which faithful Christians pass to the other side, enveloped by the love of Jesus Christ.Our healing now and forever comes from trusting Jesus for everything, including the afterlife, and obeying His gracious commands. There's no other way but His way!
