If You Want To Live...
2 PT 1:10 "So, dear brothers and sisters, work hard to prove that you really are among those God has called and chosen. Do these things, and you will never fall away."

If you want to live heaven's eternity, that is. If you want to live in heaven, where light and love reside, then you must heed the things spoken of in 2 PT.Why would Peter write such a thing? Well, he's an apostle, and it was his job to get as many people as possible to heaven. But more than that, we see that the instructions in that chapter are post-baptism (meaning, after baptism). Thereby, we see that salvation is conditional. See the article here. Conditional. It's not a sure thing, as many people attest. The Bible is the word from God, and He says, "If" many times. Well then, if that's the case, I should do as these verses say, 2 PT 1:3-8. Wow! That's startling. Am I telling you that without these, you won't go to heaven? Well, yes, but God and Peter said it first!We shine when we shine for the Lord. When Jesus returns, He'll be looking for you!
