I’d Hate To See That HappenJohn 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
Hello, Otis was a man who thought he was saved, going to heaven, and experiencing the blessings there. He lived with faith in mind, doing his best to live as he was taught.
However, at the judgment, he was not allowed in. He hung his head woefully. There were tears in his spiritual eyes. He felt ashamed and dismayed, asking the Lord why he wasn’t allowed to enter.
Jesus replied, “You were faithful to what you were taught, Otis; however, you didn’t follow me.”
“What?” Otis cried. Jesus said, “You believed in Me, but you did not obey Me because you followed man-made religion. Only those who believed the truth as I gave it and obeyed it may enter heaven.”
I’d hate to see that happen. Wouldn’t you? What can we do to ensure we're there for ourselves?
