In Jesus, we’ll die only once. Without Jesus, we’ll die twice! For those not accepting God’s terms for salvation, there’s physical death and tormented spiritual death. In Jesus, we only die the physical death, for after that, we’ll live eternally with the Father.
So, yes, we want total victory in Jesus.
Jesus assured victory over death by His resurrection. Therefore, His victory is our victory. His life is our life.
