How to Keep Your Wits When The World Is Caving InPsalms 46:1-3

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.”

Hello, << First Name >>

Catastrophic Chaos is what these verses are about. I’m sure a significant number of us have been there: divorce, job loss, bankruptcy, death of a loved one, tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes.

So, how do we get through it all with our minds intact? How do we keep our wits?

Even in the worst times, our complete trust in the Almighty sees us through. It’s sad that some haven’t learned to trust the Lord with everything. Trusting Him explicitly brings peace (it’s okay to feel pain, worry, cry, hurt, and grieve), but give it all to Jesus. After all, none of us can understand why catastrophic events occur to us, but our God does, and He knows what you’re feeling. He’ll get you through it all.

His life is our life.
