Want To Know Why We Sin?James 1:14-15
Scripture tells us: “Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. ”
Where did we get those desire? From many places! Even our moms and dads taught us what is worth getting in this world! Then there’s worldly people getting all those nifty life baubles. After that, there’s media: TV, movies, print. There’s even more places to obtain our desires
Oh, there’re beautiful people around us, too, some at church even, whom we might desire.
If our mind thinks about that desire long enough, we then develop E.S. (that’s Eve Syndrome [wanting and eating the forbidden fruit]). So we, too, grab the item of our desires and when that occurs, we’ve committed sin. Of course, we all know what happens after that.
His life is our life.
