How To Survive EvilEphesians 6:11
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”
That’s it, that’s how we survive evil.
Belt of truth — Live in God's reality, not deception.
Breastplate of righteousness — Christ's righteousness protects the heart.
Shoes of the gospel of peace — Readiness to stand firm in the good news.
Shield of faith — Quenches fiery darts (temptations, doubts, accusations).
Helmet of salvation — Secure identity in Christ guards the mind.
Sword of the Spirit — God's Word as the offensive weapon.
Prayer — Constant, alert, Spirit-led intercession.
The devil is after you, my friends. I don’t write that to scare you, but it should frighten you. Saints need to be alert, for the devil has our name and data. You think the devil uses the internet to get all that info? I wouldn’t think so, but he wants us dead, and he wants you to die separated from the Father (unrepentant sin). In truth, God’s reality is that we are spirit people, and the spirit person we call Satan is our deadly enemy.
But take heart. Our Father has provided a way to escape evil!

Summary:
Christians survive evil by staying close to God (through submission and abiding), arming ourselves spiritually (with armor and prayer), actively resisting the source of evil (the devil), and countering it with Christ's goodness rather than mirroring it. Evil cannot ultimately prevail against those who stand in Christ's finished work — we are "more than conquerors" through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). This path requires humility, vigilance, and reliance on God's strength, not our own.
He is our life, now and forevermore.
