Salvation: If It All Weren’t TrueJohn 12:47
“If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. ”
What if God never offered salvation? What would the world look like, then?
Sin would be without recourse. We can all sin as much as we want. We could kill, maim, steal, and harm others to our heart’s content, without penalty.
There would be no salvation.
Jesus would not have come at all.
The whole concept of Christianity would be destroyed: No grace, compassion, mercy, heaven; we would be completely on our own since God would not have intervened.
Death would be the greatest fear for everyone.
Summary:
But God did show grace and mercy, sending Jesus for salvation and heaven.
