The Worship of the Lord's church...(Preaching)
How will they call on Him... You can't call out to God for salvation unless you know He exists and is willing to save.
In whom they have not believed... Would you believe the story of the resurrection upon hearing it for the very first time? It's a crazy idea, yet our souls depend on its truthfulness. That's the job of preachers.
How will they hear without a preacher... A preacher is a herald of the gospel, the good news about Jesus and salvation from sin. Every Lord's Day, Sunday, preachers share the word of God with Saints and visitors.
Romans 10:14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?
Prayer: Father, we know Your word is truth. It is real, objective truth. It is truth that saves and brings Saints home to heaven. Thank You for communicating Your will to us so that we may know how please You. Would that all men find the truth and act upon it for salvation. We praise You Father. We glorify You. You are our salvation through Christ Jesus our Lord. In His name, amen.
