3 Ways to Tell You're Slipping
Hebrews 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
Little or No Glorifying God... Not singing daily praises. Not reading/studying Scripture. Less Praying.
Worship is No Big Deal... Bored in services? Preacher doesn't have anything to say? No particular friendships with Christians? Worship is like so many other things. You get out of it what you put into it. You can energize your worship by engaging your heart.
No Labor of Love... Not doing good deeds to our brethren or the lost? We are created to do good works. If you're not serving the Lord in some way you're probably slipping away.
Prayer: Hallowed be Your name Father. You alone are the ruler of all existence. Yet you know every person intimately. May we truly be the sheep of Your pasture looking to You for sustenance of life and life everlasting. May we be understanding enough to glorify You everyday, drawing closer without fear, doing Your will to accomplish Your will upon this earth.
