Hello , Don't Let the Devil Kill You!...He wants you like a lion on a gazelle!1 Peter 5:8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
He prowling... If he's prowling he's hungry, and he's eyeing me and you!
He'll kill us and devour us... How? He'll tell us lies about how wonderful the sinful world is. He'll fill our eyes with lusts for the things of the world, and he'll tell us about the fun we can have if we come over to his side. In the end he'll murder us, laughing all the way to hell.
We need protection... Ephesians 6:13-18 - put on the whole armor of God and then make sure you're diligent of his prowling.
You want to be sober. You want to put on God's armor. You want to protect yourself.
Prayer: Father of light, love, and mercy, watch over us, protect us from the evil one. Lead us away from temptation. Let us know that while sin may be temporarily fun it brings eternal torment. Let us wear the armor You've given us. Thank You for Your Son Jesus who makes all things possible for our salvation. You are Mighty, Glorious, and Powerful. Amen!
