Hello , Do You See Men Walking Like Trees?It can happen!Mark 8:24 And he looked up and said, "I see men, for I see them like trees, walking around."
1. Jesus had taken a blind man out of the city of Bethsaida. Who knows what the blind man must have thought. Others had brought him to Jesus imploring Him to restore his sight. He applied His spit to the man's eyes and laid His hands on him. Jesus asked him the question above. What's that mean? It means we need to grow our faith. It was a faith-building exercise for the man. If he could see somewhat better then might he see all the way? Complete trust is where's it at!
2. It shows our dependence on Jesus, whatever we think of our salvation it only comes through Jesus, Acts 4:12, "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved." We are totally dependent on Him for life and life eternal.
3. We can't have just partial salvation; it doesn't come from man's ideas, religions, or philosophies. Our faith needs to grow to fully trust Jesus for life after death.
Tip: Trust and obey for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus! Prayer: Father, You are our only God. There is none like You nor beside You. You plan for our salvation in Christ. All spiritual blessings are in Christ Jesus. We know this for You have told us so. May we Father, grow in complete trust all the days of our lives like dependent children needing their parents for survival. In Your Son's Name, Amen!
