Hello , The Value of TruthYou need truth to go to Heaven!John 18:37 "For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."
1. There is a number of New Testament Bible verses that speak of truth. If we had no objective truth from God then what difference would anyone's religion make? We could all be hedonists and enjoy sinful life to the utmost. But God gave us the truth. His word is truth. And by that truth, we can go to heaven, if we hear and obey.
2.The truth is that Jesus' church will stand against Hades and death, (Matthew 16:18). Jesus said so and I believe Him because He speaks the truth. Seriously. Man-made churches and religions cannot make the same claim. The torment of Hades will come and claim those in man-made churches. The truth is completely vital so that you and I may truly be in Jesus' church. Jesus adds to His church everyone who hears the truth and acts on it (Acts 2:41, 47).
3.So there is no other truth. Men come up with many ideas of how to practice religion. They are all wrong. It doesn't take any person to give the truth. It's already been given. Paul warns of man's religion in Colossians 2:16-23. He warns Timothy of people moving away from the truth, (1 Timothy 4:1-3, 2 Timothy 4:2-3. Galatians 1:6-9). Only the truth will set us free to enter Heaven.
Tip: To go to Heaven only pay attention to what God says! Prayer: Father, our Father, please bless us with our daily needs. Thank You for giving us the truth of Your Word so that we may read and understand Your will for every soul. May all of us, Father, come to You in humble spirit and open heart. Amen, In Your Son's Name, Amen.
