Hello , Here's What You Need To Do!
James 4:8a - Come close to God, and God will come close to you. NLT.
1. Be with the Lord. Take time out of your day to be with Him. He created you and loves you. Five minutes of meditation on His word can do wonders for you. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise, Philippians 4:8. NLT.
2. Seek to Understand Him. Moses talked with God face to face as a man speaks to his friend. I'm not suggesting you be irreverent. I am suggesting you get to know God as much as you can, what pleases Him, what angers Him, and the things that grieve Him. Jesus opened the way to our Father so that we may have complete access to Him. Let us go right into the presence of God with sincere hearts fully trusting him. For our guilty consciences have been sprinkled with Christ’s blood to make us clean, and our bodies have been washed with pure water, Hebrews 10:22. NLT.
3. Serve Him with Gratefulness. Write down the blessings in your life for just a few days and within three days you'll be singing Count Your Many Blessings. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father, Colossians 3:17. NLT.
Tip: The closer you are to our Father the sweeter life will be.
Prayer: To live close to You, Father. What joy! What delight! We know something of your God-powerful love, we know what angers You. We know what grieves Your Spirit. Thanks be to Jesus, for opening the door for Your Saints, so that we may be as close to You, now, as we possibly can be. What a joyful expectation of heaven! Blessed be the name of the Lord! Amen Father. Amen.
