Hello , Overwhelmed? Let God Help!
Psalm 142:3a - When I am overwhelmed, you alone know the way I should turn. NLT.
1. Our Father Knows What You're Going Through. You know He sees each hair of your head! He sees each sparrow fall and He sees everything about you. You know the Father hears the prayers of the righteous. Trust Him to get you through your difficulty.You never really know what circumstances are a providential blessing from our Father. Trust His love for you! Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you, 1 Peter 5:7. NLT.
2. Nothing Is Concealed From Our Father. Our Father knows the best path for you. Trust Him to walk the path with you. He will lead you in the right way, even though you are feeling overwhelmed at the moment. You are never alone. He loves you more than you can ever realize! Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny, Psalm 73:23-24. NLT.
3. This Is Merely A Test. Life happens. Sometimes, a difficult life comes from the choices we make. At other times, difficulties come from the sins of others. And then, sometimes, stuff just happens. You can pass this test. When you do, celebrate! If you don't pass, then you know where you need to grow. God is working in you to get you ready for heaven! These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world, 1 Peter 1:7. NLT.
Tip: When life is crazy trust Him even more.
Prayer: Father, we are frail human beings. We feel the weight of a sin-broken world. Sometimes that weight is overwhelming. We have deadlines, a multitude of responsibilities, and issues. Friends, neighbors and family stress us. Circumstances beset us. Yes, we have committed to walking the narrow path. So we must live by faith and not by sight. You are our shepherd. Even if we are lead through the valley of the shadow of death we know You are with us. Blessed be Your great and holy name!
