Hello , You Can be Worthy

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Ephesians 4:1. NLT.

1. Worthy. It's a simple word. It means "a godly manner." So when you do the things God wants you to do, every day, you are being worthy. You have reasons to do this. God extended His grace to you. He sent Jesus so that you may be saved. You owe Him your very existence, physical and spiritual. Be worth the sacrifice of Jesus!

2. Lead. This is the way you live. What kind of life do you lead? Are you a stinker or a thinker? If you're a godly person you consider your lifestyle. You choose to be worthy of the calling with which you are called. You live in a way pleasing to the Lord.

3. Calling. You have received an invitation from God to live with Him forever. He did this because He doesn't want you in hell. If you have received His calling, it means you have faith to access His grace, you've repented of your disobedient life, confessed Jesus as Lord, and have been baptized to wash away your sins. If you've done these things you've accepted His invitation, His calling. If you truly believe Jesus is the Christ, you will walk worthy of your calling.

Tip: We all would end up in hell without God's invitation. Let us live worthy of that invitation.

Prayer: O God our Father. Thank You for Your gracious invitation of eternal life with You. No grave can hold us. Death has no power over us. Your wonderful Son defeated death for all who believe and obey. We pray for the lost, Father. May all come to their senses and leave the dark for the light of the gospel. May your children live pleasing lives to You. Praise to You, Father, praise to You. Amen!
