Hello , Can You Do This?He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together. Colossians 1:17. NLT.
1. Did You Exist Before Creation? C
hances are, you didn't, but Jesus did. Jesus is God as Jehovah is God, as the Holy Spirit is God. Colossians 1:15 states Jesus is over all creation. He is God over all creation, of entities in heaven and everything on earth, Matthew 28:19.
2. Did You Create All Things? Jesus created things, things we can't see, like thrones, and dominions, and powers in the heavenly places, and He created everything we can see, Colossians 1:16. Jesus is powerful beyond our ability to understand. Perhaps that why we can do all things through Christ, Philippians 4:13.
3. Do You Keep All Things Going? Jesus does, Colossians 1:17. Imagine all the bacteria, all the viruses, all the stuff we can't see without powerful microscopes, every star, every planet, every moon, galaxies, and the entire universe. Oh, and then there's all the earth animals, fishes, birds, and humans! All Jesus would have to do is stop holding all things together, and everything would vanish. All of it. All of it would disintegrate. I'm sure that would be extremely painful. I don't want to disintegrate, and you don't either. So we are thankful to Jesus for His amazing power and love.
Tip: You'd want to be on the good side of Jesus at the judgment with no sin charged to your soul.Prayer: Our Father in heaven, truly Your name is holy. Our Lord Jesus is beyond our ability to understand His great might, His great love. We know He holds things together until the end when the Saints are turned over to You. Blessed be the name of Jesus. Blessed be the Holy Spirit. And blessed be Your name, Father. Our God is our very life, our very existence. May we serve You with proper hearts and minds. In Your Son's Name, Amen!
