Hello , What Are You Sowing, What Are You Reaping?Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Galatians 6:7. NLT.
1. Misled! It's easy to deceive ourselves. We do it quite often. Sometimes we make a "want" into a "need." We rationalize the sin that we want to commit. We know the world deceives. It promises glitter but produces death. James speaks of this in James 1:14-16. We commit the very thing condemning us in the judgment by our thoughts, words, and action. Yet, we also do things pleasing to God. We are always sowing! Don't be misled. Do what's right.
2. Sowing! We sow the seeds of eternity each time we speak, each time we act. Our behavior now, plants produce for eternity. Jesus spoke of the resurrection of good and evil people, John 5:29. We are continually sowing, so be aware, be careful, and don't deceive yourself. Sow seed to righteousness.
3. Reaping! The Bible speaks of the coming judgment. All of what you have sown will be the produce, either heaven or hell. Recall the bad things you did? Ouch! Painful? Have they been forgiven by God through the blood of Jesus? Have you been baptized to wash away your sins, Acts 22:16? Living a life you're proud of, honoring God in what you say and do, Colossians 3:17? You are sowing well, my friend!
Tip: You can never deceive God. He knows exactly what you do. So, honor Him with everything you are!Prayer: Most Holy Father, we honor You by our words and actions. From time to time, we slip, stumble, and fall. Please forgive us our sins. You graciously offer salvation to the penitent heart. You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins. As Your children, we come to You for solace, comfort, and grace. You are our God; You are our loving Father. How sweet life can be! Amen and Amen!
