**Numbers 6:24**
“The LORD bless you and keep you.”
In this nation, we are physically blessed beyond imagination. Have a want or a need, just go to the store and get it. James 1:17 tells us that every good gift is from God. We love that, don’t we? We want Him to give us good things.
But in Numbers 6:24, Aaron was to bless the Hebrews with God’s good care, spiritually and physically. The Lord certainly blesses us with a valid hope of heaven and eternal life. But then, there’s that phrase “and keep you.” It means God is watching over you with an eye to protection. He guards us from evil (if we’ll let Him), He provides salvation, He shows us the best way to live, and most of all, He keeps us in His love every day.
When you go to sleep, you do so in His love for you. When you wake up, you do so in His love for you. You are His, and you are loved all day long.
